We’re here to show you something amazing that’s mostly unknown, hidden, ignored and not spoken about.. namely female genital engorgement, female pleasure and the experiences and perspectives that come with owning a yoni.  

Arousal Academy presents a body of work that showcases pictures of female genitalia (yoni) before and after an extended period of arousal, along with their intimate, vulnerable and empowering stories.

The pictures help normalize and brings a positive attitude the vast variety of how female genitalia is configured. They also help bring awareness to the visible physiological changes as well as the increased pleasure and connection that happens with full arousal (the engorgement, opening and readiness). The yoni stories correspond to each yoni picture and express a plethora of experiences, attitudes, colorful sexuality, feelings, pleasure, trauma and the profound healing that may come with owning a yoni or engaging with one.

Why create Yoni Stories? To support people to get beyond unfulfilling shallow conventional sex and limited pleasure! Arousal Academy would like to reframe sex education to be legitimized as pleasure based and to include the energetics of sex and love. Ultimately the inspiration is to support people to expand their erotic pleasure potential, cultivate deeper connections, to get their desires met,  attract more love and have meaningful communication around their sexuality.

Society teaches us that our bodies and sex is shameful, yet porn is ironically hyper prevalent and for the most part, a damaging influence which does not at all honor female bodied people and creates sexual disfunction. Abstinence doesn’t embrace our sexual nature or solve anything. In our society many people also experience a limiting sexuality stemming from trauma that they’re not even aware of carrying. Most don’t know their own bodies well, the true capacity of their orgasmic pleasure, let alone how to communicate about it. People engage in sex with each other before ever having an authentic conversation about it. Arousal Academy wants this body of work to help shift these limitations.

Essentially, introducing to the world the female hard on! Not only for educational purposes, normalization and healing but also to champion female sexual empowerment and help their partners to become better lovers. By embracing the female anatomy of arousal, we avoid doing harm and cultivate connection, love and pleasure beyond imagination.
